  • About me
    Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
Great things are done when fortune favors us. Untiring zeal and resolute determination may change the lines of fate. While setting the framework of mind to think in this direction, a name emerges and flashes on the screen of mind to show the veracity. That name which resounds in the corridors of Martial Arts is Dr. Gajanand Rajput who has devoted himself fully to propagate this art throughout the world. He strains every nerve to be a champ and a protagonist of Martial Arts. His crack of dawn begins with Martial Arts and the shadow of evening falls while practicing Taekwondo.

The unforgettable day of November 28th 1978 brought this soul to earth and thus his childhood passed in Sabarmati, Ahmedabad. Even while swinging in a cradle the symptoms of being an expert of this art were visible in him. Being Kshatriya, he was much inclined to know about the techniques of warfare. He blossomed in the family tree as a second child and the names of his parents were Shri Bagwat Moolchand Rajput and Smt. Jankidevi. While standing at the turning point of his academic career he preferred to be an expert of Martial Arts. Mr. Gajanand Rajput is not only an incredibly expert of Martial Arts, but also a Great Indian Promoter of different disciplines. He holds Doctorate Degree in Philosophy of ‘Asian Martial Arts’ and Black Belts in various martial disciplines. These Arts include; Wu-Shu (Chinese), Taekwondo (Korean), Lan Shou Pai (Shaolin), Karate (Japanese), and Northern Shaolin (classical Chinese Art).

He strained every nerve to be at the top and finally the first award which came in his Victory bag was the medal of School board Martial Arts Competition. At the onset of the year 1995 he became the premier Taolu and Sanshou contestant and added feather in the cap of the nation. The period from 1999 to 2007 was the most fortunate time which placed him at the noticeable height of success. He became the unconquered and the triumphant man of this art. Even after achieving many accolades he walked with long strides and leaped high to be at the top with plentiful prizes and medals.

During the year 1999 Gajanand Rajput pulled up his socks and kicked his heels to propagate the Martial Arts in each nook and corner of the globe. He organized many district level, state level and national level seminars and competitions. He got an opportunity and visited China in the year 2006. He was fortunate enough to receive an official Shaolin Monk name ‘Shi Heng Chang’. His achievements were published in various newspapers and journals and thus he became the star of martial arts within no time.

Thus, he set out his voyage of this art and continued his visits in proceeding year from 2006 to 2011 continuously. This was the golden span of his life as he took part in various competitions with his team and got the crown of success. He never took rest on his laurels and strived hard to propagate the Martial Art to make the people acquainted of this extra ordinary technique of self defense.

When he was just 12-year-old, he started taking lessons of this art in his area. The name of his Master is Shree Lucky N. Chan Thakuri. His natural abilities were quickly recognized by his teachers (Ajay Shinde & Devanshu Patel) and they encouraged him to enter the open School Board Martial Arts competition. By the time he had achieved his first Gold Medal. He was advancing well on his way to become a martial arts champion. By 1995 Gajanand was one of the Premier ‘Taolu (forms) and Sanda’ competitors in the Country. Competing in divisions that were not segregated by Open categories, he literally captured every title in both Amateurs and Professional Martial Arts competitions. Since 1999-2007 he is the undefeated and unparalleled National Martial Arts Promoter in Ttaditional Kung-Fu, Contemporary Wu-Shu, Internal Arts and Fighting competition.

It’s really unbelievable that at the tender age of twelve he became the disciple of a well-known expert of the Martial Art namely Shree Lucky n. Chan Taker. He imparted exclusively the knowledge of this Art. He widened his horizons and expanded his skill like a full moon which regained its completeness from crescent to fullness.

Then the right time arrived to show his talent and his seniors of Martial Arts Shree Ajay Shinde and Devanshu Patel encouraged him to enter the ‘Open School Board Martial Arts competition’. He was lucky enough to achieve the first Gold Medal and gradually he crossed the obstacles of all breakdowns and stepped up to touch the zenith of success. In the year 1995, Gajanand joined the race of this art i.e. Taolu (forms) and Sanda to go ahead for achieving the crown of success. His consistent efforts and skills awarded him the honor of capturing every title in both Amaeurs and professional Martial Art especially in competitions.

The easy way to be stylish in profession and also for fulfilling the ambition is the field of media and movies. So the time arrived that may be called as a turning point of his life when he joined the film industry especially of Gujarati Films.
