kelsey is an actress hailing from Chicago, IL. In 2001, she landed in sunny Los Angeles, and hasn’t looked back to the cold winters and humid summers. Although she believed throughout her childhood that she would pursue stage acting in Chicago, a city rife with great theatre, once in college the discovery of acting for the camera was upon her. She continued her course of study at a small liberal arts college in the city, becoming very involved in the theatre department and passionately devouring anything pertaining to the understanding of theatre or film; acting in particular.

During those years, kelsey was involved in a groundbreaking world premiere tour of a play called The Longing, which told the stories of the Palestinian people. She was blessed to visit and explore the land and the difficult history and meet some of the people whose oral histories were the basis for the play. Shortly after visiting Israel and the Palestinian territories, she embarked on a summer acting intensive in London, England.

Upon her return from London, kelsey’s passion and interest in theatre and film acting had been compounded and ignited. Within the year she moved to Los Angeles, studied film production, made several of her own films, acted in many others and fell in love with the city. Since completing her film studies, she’s been happily involved in a number of productions, including one recently completed which she also produced, did the artwork and designed the costumes for.

kelsey has always had a penchant for the offbeat and eccentric; weird, if you will. The more unusual or unique the perspective, the more interesting it is. She likes playing roles that challenge her way of thinking and which are demanding, whether emotionally, physically or mentally.

In her free time, kelsey paints, practices yoga and pilates, acts as her own agent, reads voraciously, manages and books a musical artist and tries to make the world a greener place. Another of her passions is art and she enjoys working with artists as an art model.
