Recently finished a run of “Sunset Boulevard” as Max at the Warner Theater.Acting on the professional, nonprofessional and educational theater levels since the age of 7. Trained at the American Academy, Neighborhood Playhouse, 92nd Street Y.M.H.A, Bard and Catawba Colleges, where he was the recipient of the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor Awards, Mr.Ponzini considers the theater an essential part of his life. He was the recipient of the Critics Choice Award at Florida Tech for writing and directing “The Wedding”, a Readers Theater work .He has trained or been directed by Morris Carnovsky, Irma Jurist, William Driver and Mark Epstein, among others. At the Warner he has appeared as Mayhew in “Witness for the Prosecution”. Other roles: Kweskin (Curtain Call) in Stamford, Strauss (Titanic), Harding (One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest) Giorgio (A Touch of Spring and They Knew What They Wanted) with the Rainbow Theater. Nathan Detroit, Fagin, Sancho, Snoopy, Oswald (King Lear), Berenger (Rhinocerous), Miller (Room Service). He did his apprenticeship at The Pioneer Playhouse, State Theater of Kentucky. Mr. Ponzini has been a practicing Trial Lawyer in Connecticut for thirty years.
