Megan was grew up in the small town of Coal City, Illinois, with her mother and younger brother. Since a very tender age, she thrust herself into the spotlight, claiming stardom in school performances and community projects at the local library. Megan attended Northern Illinois University's Theatre and Dance program, graduating in 2003 with her bachelor's.
Since then, Megan has moved her focus from the stage to the screen. Her debut came with a lead role in RPM Films' first feature film "Dead in the Water". Megan has had to regroup, learning the ins and outs of this "other" side of her profession, but she considers it the best move she ever made. She plans to make a career in the growing film industry in Chicago, the city she loves. .
