He is a young actor aiming to be a star on stage or in film. He first found his passion for his career around the end of eighth grade when students were getting accepted to high schools. Aren's teacher, teacher handed Aren and his sisters two tickets to one of the schools musical performances at Renaissance High School for the Arts, Damn Yankees. They went to watch the performance and as his eyes glistened in marvel of the dancers flowing across stage, the singers voicing their hearts and souls and those glorious actors who took stage for their own and poured their life into each line, each word, letter, and punctuation, he realized that this wonderful harmonic ensemble of music and theater, “Musical Theater”, caught his interest in a way never before known to him. He would one day walk on the stage. Dance the rhythm of the music and sing the songs of many different sounds as those performers on stage did the that night. He would be an actor.

After getting accepted to Renaissance, he participated in the rehearsal process for a part in Bye, Bye Birdie as many others were also interested in and scored a spot in the musical as Karl, his first minor but important role in a musical. He performed for a grand audience that he was once apart of and the excitement he shared with the audience was all he needed to develop a passion he'd never be able pass. With this, he continued musical theater, even participating in outside performance companies like YaYa's Performance Academy.

Although he was sure he'd developed his love for theater, he had a personal experience where this love he held really sank in; performing as Tony from West Side Story. He'd been in many rehearsals, singing the same songs as the rehearsal before and so on, however during the dress rehearsal before opening night, Aren hysterically bursted into tears on stage during Tony's death in the arms of Maria, played by Esperanza Vasquez who had also shared the same intense emotion as he did. After the scene had ended with Tony being carried off stage by a few Jets and Sharks still fighting back tears, he talked to another performer and heard the most inspirational words he'd ever came across. The other actor said Aren changed the actor's perspective on theater to a newly appreciative level and Aren had birthed his own realization, that making an impact on the community through theater is what he loved to do and now thirsted for.

Along with his achievements in musical theater, he has developed skills in leadership with the positions he has held in his three years of ASB, Associated Student Body (Student Counsel). He went from being a simple tenth grade representative, to being the ASB Treasurer, to being a well organized, respected, and successful ASB President leading and facilitating the ASB class and representing his student body and school and guiding his fellow leaders.

He has developed as an artist throughout his high school experience. He has achieved several musical theater achievements, participated in three song cycles, has participated in musical theater companies, achieved the highest level dance and theater class at Renaissance High School for the Arts, participated in guidance at Musical Theater Workshop as a Counselor and Group Leader and participated in a Vocal Jazz and A Capella group and will do much more with years to come.
