Hey There!
Like John Cougar Mellencamp's song; I was indeed born in a small town. Just another dairyland kid hailing from Park Falls, Wisconsin, I had many hopes and dreams like my peers. While we all dreamt of playing pro ball and scoring the game winning touchdown, I had yet another dream. Another passion. To be apart of something more than just a team, but to be a part of an art form. We are emotional and passionate beings and to be a part of something where emotion and passion are in control and the essential driver is something I've never wanted more. We are always told to dream big and shoot for the stars, but yet as we grow older we forget what those dreams were and why we held them so dear to our hearts. For myself, I don't want to forget. I refuse to forget. Leaving my friends and family behind was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but was what I had to do in order to attempt and achieve a dream. A dream that many have told me is unattainable and unreachable as a "nobody" from the Midwest with little to no acting experience. It was sitting and watching James Dean and Dennis Hopper in "Rebel Without A Cause" with my Grandpa at an early age that I knew I wanted to do "that". All I am asking for is a shot or an opportunity to do just "that" and prove all those who doubt, wrong. More than anything, I want to be a role model and set an example for so many of those small town kids with big city dreams. I would be humbled and honored if I were given an opportunity to prove that acting is something that I can do.
