I'm 23 years old and I recently graduated from the University of West Alabama with a degree in Interdisciplinary Arts. I was on the women's golf team all 4 years at UWA and earned the Gulf South Conference Freshman of The Year honor and I made the All GSC team my Freshman year. It was truly an honor to be a student athlete.
I have always surprised people with my ability to make a speech at school without looking at my notes with a clear, confident voice or have a part in a school play like I was born to be that person. Why reason for the surprise? I was informed that everyone thought that I was shy and reserved. Wait? What?! Only because I didn't socialize or party? NO! It was because I was focused and determined. Given the chance to be a part of something awesome, I won't let myself or anyone depending on me down.
