Born Shakerah Lashanda Emanuel on August 7,1982 to the parents of Tammy McClenton and Alfred Emanuel. I have an older sister and a younger brother. I attended Whitney M. Young Jr. Elementary School and Henry Snyder H.S. both located in Jersey City, N.J.After graduating from high school I relocated to upstate N.Y. where I attended college. My passion for acting started when I was about 8 yrs.old but I didnt pursue it because no one ever talked about becoming an actor so I thought it wasnt that important, until I played apart in a play and realized that this is what a long to do and no matter what, I'm determined to reach my goal and be the best at it. .
