Bejamin James King was born and raised in Port Townsend Washington. He holds a BFA in Theatre from New York University where he trained at the Stella Adler Studio, The Experimental Theatre Wing, The Stonestreet Film and Television Studio and the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam. This combination of disciplines has produced a highly physical, emotionally generous actor with a strong classical background and a specialty in contemporary acting for the stage and screen. Recent credits include Elizabeth’s Swados’ absurdist musical Jabu at the Flea Theatre and Josh Fox’s Epic Limitless Joy with the International WOW Company. Favorite roles at NYU include Allen in Picnic, Thersites in Troilus and Cressida and Warren/Dennis in a role-swapping production of This is our Youth. On Film he can be seen as Jonah in Being Jonah from 12th Street House Productions and in numerous short independent films.
