About me
Snellville, Georgia, United States
Big things come in small packages. ReGina Nicole is Dynomite. Born in Galveston, a small island on the coast of Texas. She was raised by her mother till age 13 then went to live with her father. Here is where her Stepmother sparked the first flame of her artistic talents. She convinced her to enter a poetry contest with teh "National Library of Poetry" in which she became a winner and published writer at age 16. She also traveled as an African Dancer with Lara Sucotai from Zimbabwe.
The hard knocks of life introduced it's self early and a year and a half later, ReGina Nicole ran away from home right before she turned 18. She graduated high school and went on to college at Texas Womens University. There she studied Theatre and Business Administration. A young mind and an eager heart promted her to reach back into performing. She started going to a poetry club in Dallas called "Reciprocity" where she was solicited to be featured on an independent Dallas compliation CD of poetry and songs called "Nommo". The compliation featured the likes of neo soul artists Eryka Badu and N'Dambi among other greats.
Branching off from college plays and festivals, ReGina tested her acting skills and landed an extra role in an independent film entitled "The Riff" which starred Antonio Fargas. He gave her the first initiation into the screen scene. He will always be her "Huggie Bear".
Texas is big but California seemed bigger for a hungry artist to fulfill her dreams. With hopes of hitting the road to the Tonis, New York was a bit out of reach so ReGina Nicole packed her bags and moved to California to try the theatre scene there. Once there she found that film sets went up faster and more often than stage sets. This was the turning point when she decided to go full stream into Film, Television and Commercials. It didn't take long to start building her resume. In 2003 she took time out to start her family and focus on personal development. Here is where she started to gain her production credits. We'll save that for another site. :-)
Coming back into full swing she enters into the Aqaurian Age right on time. After all she is a true Aquarian lady of the water. She knows how to flow. Be on the look out this star is on the rise and shine!!
