Alan Rowe Kelly joined the ongoing force of independent horror cinema in 2002 with his cult film debut I’LL BURY YOU TOMORROW. He was voted Best Director, Best Writer & Best Independent Film of 2003 by Next Tuesday Magazine and collected 6 international film festival awards – three for ‘Best Horror Feature’. I’LL BURY YOU TOMORROW soon became known as ’the little indie that could’ by audiences and movie critics alike and was cited as ‘a return to true independent filmmaking in the style of Jon Waters and Tobe Hooper’.

Alan Rowe will be screening his second feature, THE BLOOD SHED, a horrific tale of a backwoods, inbred cannibal family and their interactions with society. THE BLOOD SHED is scheduled for a national release with Heretic Films on October 30th, 2007.

Alan Rowe has recently completed filming the controversial A FAR CRY FROM HOME, which he directed and stars opposite upcoming movie hunk Don Money for HUNG BY A THREAD - a horror anthology he is collaborating on with popular fright auteurs Michael Todd Schneider and Tyler Tharpe.

But Alan Rowe’s plan of action does not stop there. Following his appearance in I’LL BURY YOU TOMORROW in 2002, he has appeared in over 15 films and is being branded as a ‘screen homme fatale’ in horror movies - carving quite a niche for himself and quickly gaining a reputation as an ‘original’ and undeniable force in independent cinema. His current film credits include roles in South Paw’s productions of THE BLOOD SHED and HUNG BY A THREAD, Joe Sullivan’s DEAD SERIOUS, Bart Mastronardi’s VINDICATION, Jeremiah Kipp’s THE POD, Anthony Sumner’s W.O.R.M., Michael Todd Schneider’s OPENING THE MIND, Stolis Hadjicharalambous’ CROSSED, Joshua Nelson’s EAT YOUR HEART OUT & PINK EYE, and Tate Steinsiek’s THE DEVOURED. Kelly will star and direct in a new horror web series THE HOLLOWS in 2008.
