I was born in Japan as a military brat. A year later my family moved to Florida, where I lived for seven years until my dad became an official missionary. Then my family of seven moved to Chile, South America, where we lived for an additional six years. There, I learned to read and speak Spanish fluently, and attended a Spanish-speaking school. In 2002 my family moved back to the US and I currently reside in Yuma, Arizona, where I work as a bank teller. I am also a writer (novels and children's stories), a poet, and illustrator for my own stories.
