Well my name is Michael A. Wilson II, I was born in Baltimore, MD on September 3. I have been interested in the entertainment business for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a little boy I been dancing and telling jokes for friends and family. Once I began school I started to hit the stage. I can remember in elementary school entering a talent show and winning third place for singing. Which, singing is not one of my strong points. In summer camps to follow I sought out to become an actor. I performed the lion in a local production of the Wiz. From that moment I knew that acting would be something I would enjoy doing. Since then I have done little school plays and church plays through out my school years. It was then that once I got into college I pushed even further with acting and took a couple of theatre classes and joined the theatre group at Coppin State University. Being apart of the Coppin Players (the school theatre group), I got to meet a wonderful woman, Ms Starletta DuBois, actress who has been on many movies and one of my favorites, Friday After Next. While attending Coppin I performed a biography sketch monologue and dance routine honoring Bill “Bojangles” Robinson. After being seen performing this I was encouraged to not just act in front of the school audience but to also show my talents to projected students at orientation and at the local malls for Black History Month. My acting ability gave me the opportunity to become the school’s mascot the Eagle. Taking the college courses I took it prepared me for my bigger part in the musical Messiah performed every year at Coppin State University. I played Gabriel the Angel, the challenging part of the role was I had to pantomime each action as a woman was singing. I played the role for two years running until I left school and found myself in the military. I am stationed in Tucson, AZ which is six hours away from the biggest entertaining city in the U.S., Los Angeles. So I thought that this would be my chance to network and try to gain more experience and get a name for myself on the west coast and eventually make it in the industry. .
