Once upon a time, in a far away land, a magical girl was born. She goes by the name Lacey Condon. Well, it wasn’t that far away, just the small town, Elmira, NY, and she wasn’t exactly magical, but she did seem to shine. My name is Lacey, and yes, I was born with glitter in my veins.
I first saw light on November 13, 1990. For as long as I can remember, I have always been a generally happy person. I am the type who will sing into a hair brush but is also serious when the situation calls for it. I have a combination of personal characteristics that many people don’t have. I am creative and I think in a way that is different from the thoughts of many people. I put passion into everything I do. In my short life time, I have been through a great deal of different things. I was able to learn from these experiences and they have helped me to express myself.
I enjoy learning about how other people live, their cultures, and how their lives are different from my own. I can also respectively see another person’s point-of-view. I have participated on many different teams, including cheerleading for 5 years, 3 years on the varsity tennis team as well as basketball and softball. In doing so, I have extensively developed skills in working with people. I love people and I am very personable. I am also an active listener. I feel I work well independently and with other people. I have a vast amount of leadership skills which allow me to work to my potential and help others reach their own. I generally always have a positive attitude and I am a very unique individual. I like to finish what I start and quitting is not an option.
I have big dreams. I have the determination, the work ethic, and the natural talent that will allow me to succeed. Talent is something that comes naturally to me in many things that I do. If something, however, doesn’t come naturally to me, I work even harder to do my best. I am willing to step out of my comfort zone and take some risks. I have a level head that will also work to my advantage. I am very determined, and I will shine. My fairytale is just getting started, and I know it will end in happily ever after.
