Born William Rivera, in New York City of both parents from the island of Puerto Rico. William was no stranger to tough times growing up. Moved to Lansing, Michigan with his mother, grandmother, and older siblings. William spent younger years exposed to many kinds of different music. From Motown soul to rock, reggae, rhythm and blues even jazz, standards. And surely not to forget his roots always loving salsa and other forms of Latin and world music. He showed a strong hunger for all types of sound at the age of five. William knew that he wanted to sing, write songs and entertain. He has basically spent his life since, then sharpening and honing his skills, and natural given talents of singing and creating music for all occasions. Happiest on stage or recording also very adapted as an actor as well as a powerfully dramatic and gifted vocalist. His love and passion for what he does simply radiates to his audiences sharing the stage with many of the greats. Becoming writer, arranger and producer for other artist in and thru many different styles of music and film are just some of the predictions for this Young and up and coming virtuoso. William has a song on the temptation's album entitled AWESOME. Song numbers seven. RACE FOR YOUR HEART, William wrote this song, he also has been seen out on the road with Kenny Lattimore and Stevie Wonder. William's sound has been embraced and enjoyed by countless audiences around the world from the U.S. to Japan, China, Europe, Canada and even Africa where he has several radio spots airing daily. William's passion for the arts has no boundaries. As well as his musical influences which span decades and cross many cultural lines.
