Hello my name is Teja Monteiro and I am ten years old, born on November 13, 1997 in Sacramento, California.. I am a born performer, performing is my life and I am hoping to make a career as an actress. I have been performing with a dance company Step One for the past four years. We have danced for the Governors inauguration in 2006, and I had the pleasure of meeting his wife Maria Shriver, which was very exciting. Since I have been dancing I have performed in several productions through Step One as well as danced in competitions in which we have placed first and second. I have also done some modeling and would love to do more if given the opportunity to do so, I find being in front of a camera very thrilling and exciting. Although I haven’t had much acting experience I would love to become an actress. My acting experiences have been in school plays and I had the opportunity to play a news anchor for NBC once which was fun, and I was told I was a natural on the camera. I know that I love to perform both on stage and in front of the camera and hopefully one day I will be the actress I aspire to be.
