Born in Stockton, CA "Roy Holmes" was raised in a household of six brothers and three sisters. He was second oldest born. He came from a line of great musician. His great great uncle was the late great muddy waters, who is the corner stone of blues and souls, which we now call R&B. But it was not until Badd Luck was 18 years old when he found out that he had a way with words. He kept his mind on poems. when he was 20 years old, he won a national Def Jam spoken words contest, but his eyes was still on football. Until the day he lost his father in 2001, that left him to watch over his little brothers and sisters. Badd Luck's love for music grew. He wrote a song for Kenny Lattermore, " If I lose my women", which sold of 300,000 unites, he has also help with a few other local artist. When growing up listening to all kinds of music, his style can be so "ill". He loves Hip-Hop.. From dancing to B-Bopp to free style rapping, ROY HOLMES has got the hang of it. He didn't start of easy. in 1996, he was sent to C.Y.A. for five and a half years. He's been through it all. Now roy is working on his album, and mix-tape.
