I have always craved attention. Growing up the youngest of five boys in a family of eight kids, I had to make myself standout to get that attention.

I was able to sing a bit and joined a choir in 6th grade. Immediately I fell in love with being on stage. I had the opportunity to travel all over the country with a choir and enjoyed it immensely. In high school a movie was being made and I got the opportunity to do some extra work on the set.

After high school I continued to sing every chance I got. At church, weddings, funerals, but nothing major. In 1998 I auditioned for a play for the first time, on a whim. I got the lead. Unfortunately the show was cancelled and my acting career came to an abrupt halt.

Nine years later, I saw auditions for a musical in the newspaper, it was "The Full Monty". I had seen the movie and thought I knew the exact part I wanted to audition for. I went to the audition and was told I would have to sing and dance in nothing but my underwear. Fortunately, I had just done laundry. I very poorly sang "Put on a Happy Face" from Bye Bye Birdie. Then the director told me, "OK, now sell that song to me sexually." GULP! Anyway, I got the part I wanted and decided that I have a new passion in life.

I've been fortunate enough to be cast in some great roles, in some great shows, with some great directors.

I love acting, I've learned so much in the last few years, and I have so much more to learn.
