Jermaine Antwon Reece is 21 years old and is a graduate from Stratford High School. He is currently a Business Administration/ Business International Trade major at Miller-Motte Technical College. He plans to further his education in Entertainment Business and Theatre. God has blessed him with many abilities, gifts, and talents. He is positioned to be a leader among other youth to emulate. He is the former president of the Stratford High School Gospel Choir for two years which under his direction they won the 2005 Tri-county High School Gospel Choir competition. Reece was the director and producer of the professional production of "If the Preacher Ain't Right" and pt. 2, entitled "Didn't it Rain” playing the starring role of the Presiding Bishop. Reece has participated in numerous of talent competitions, theatrical performances, and television broadcasting programs such as McDonald presents “Show Time at the Apollo", he was a 1999 semi-finalist, "Star Search", Millie Lewis Talent and Modeling Search-Charlotte Convention”, "The Glory and the Fire" (gospel stage play), “Your Arms are to Short too Box with God” (a gospel musical stage play), “Peril on the High Seas” (stage play), “If the Preacher Ain’t Right”(gospel stage play), “All that Jazz”(scenes taken from the movie), which he took third in the 2005 South Carolina State Cultural Arts Competition in Spartanburg, SC, Tyler Perry’s newest film, (SAG film) “Why Did I Get Married Too” as a business traveler and various gospel explosions, talent shows, and national church conventions. Reece has shared the stage and worked alongside various Producers, local artist and National Gospel Recording Artists such as: Rev. Timothy Wright, Richard Smallwood, Rev. Al Sharpton, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Nia Long, Lamman Rucker, Natalie Wilson and SOP Chorale, Joe "Flip" Wilson, Mr. Jonathan T. Adams and Authoress Latitia R. Adams, Th.M., Walter Barnes, Jr. & Men of Ministry, Joanne Rosario, Lucinda Moore, Laeh Jones from Witness, Khristian Dentley from Take 6/ Martha Munizzi, Cece from UPN’s sitcom Girlfriend’s, Spanky, CJ Kee, Minister’s Daron and Stacie Shuler, DAS, Crystal Brown-Gibson, F.O.C.U.S. Ministries, The Messenger, OAsIS, New Bethel Sounds of Praise Mass Choir featuring him as a guest artist on there first album entitled “He Cares” and many more. He was recently selected out of thousands to represent Charleston at the National Actors, Models and Talent Convention Competition in Kissimmee, FL on January 5-10, 2010. He has also worked along side with several production and management companies such as Shirley Grant Management (Teaneck, NJ), RBI Productions, LLC (Mount Pleasant, SC), Prayzework Records (Metropolitan area- Washington, D.C.), JTA Productions & Management, Inc. (Summerville, SC), and Media Consultants, Inc. (Raleigh, NC). It has been said that this young man is naturally gifted, talented and is a great pillar in the community of Charleston. He quotes that “I am confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in me, will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” Philippians 1:6.
