Brigitte Millar - Biography:
Brigitte Millar first studied acting in London at the London Centre for Theatre studies, where she trained in a variety of acting techniques including Meisner, Stanislavski and Method acting. She also studied with U.S acting coaches Jack Waltzer and Bernard Hiller. Upon completion of the course, she toured extensively in the UK as well as in Europe and her repertoire ranges from ‘Puck’ in Midsummer Night’s Dream to ‘Mrs Tozer’ in the BBC drama ‘Desperate Romantics’.
In 2006, she played ‘Emmeline Vance’ in “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix“ directed by David Yates. She has appeared in a variety of TV dramas and in 2011, she was awarded “Best Supporting Actress” for the role of “Amelia Holland” in the multi award winning feature film “David is Dying” directed by Stephen Lloyd Jackson at the International Film Festival in Los Angeles.
Brigitte has also been a presenter on “Hatton Gardens Jewellers” a programme about the Diamond Centre in London to be shown later this year and done voice over work for various commercial and corporate projects. She has also modeled for Betty Barclay fashion.
