Devin Harjes, was born in Lubbock, TX. While growing up he always wanted to be an actor, but there were no real avenues for him to explore acting in his small town. When he graduated high school he became a Theatre Major at South Plains College (SPC) and gained the experience and confidence he needed to pursue acting. While at SPC he appeared in numerous different roles varying from, the brooding lover Romeo, in William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, The Murderous Richard Loeb, in John Logan’s Never the Sinner, the loveable stool pigeon Benny Southstreet, in Guys and Dolls, and various other plays and Musicals. After Devin had success with these plays and musicals in Lubbock, he left his small town and moved to Dallas in hopes of trying to find something more fulfilling with his acting career. He soon gained the role of the troubled, stuttering, suicidal boy, Billy Bibbit in the play One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s nest. But the limited roles and productions Texas had to offer could not satisfy his thirst to act. So, living less than a year in Dallas, Devin Packed up and dropped everything he had with hopes of making something of himself in the Big Apple. He has currently been in New York for four years, and he has had small successes in gaining roles in various student films, such as the role of the social outcast Jimmy, in the film Blue Eyed Mary and some Off-Broadway works such as the role of the psychotic cannibal Bryan in The Final Analysis which premiered at the Player’s Loft . Devin Recently finished shooting an Action-Sci-fi television pilot called Graves. In which he plays an angry anti-hero, Marcus Fighter, racing against time and faith to save the ones he loves from apocalypse. Devin is always looking for his next acing project trying to fulfill his love of acting. He is currently still living and auditioning in New York trying to find representation.
