Born in the little southern town of Victoria, Texas,
Sage Boysen knew from an early age that his big dreams and personality
exceeded his small town raising.
At the age of 9, Sage and his best friend, Matthew, spent the summer
traveling back and forth to Houston to attend numerous workshops
taught by renowned acting coach, Mari Ferguson. When the summer
ended his best friend went on to pursue other things, but Sage continued
to travel to Houston and train with Mari.
At the age of 13, Sage went on his very first audition that happened to be for a
National "Sports Authority" Commercial. His years of training paid off and he beat out
hundreds of other boys for the lead role along side of Michael Strahan. His next audition
that year was for the movie trailer, “Shane Road". Sage secured the lead role of 18 year old
"Justin Marshall" after the director/writer, Tory Christopher, decided Sage was right for the
role despite him being only 13 at the time.
Sage has been training in the art of tae kwon do since the age 5. Sage has taken vocal lessons in Houston with national recording artist, Shannon Perry.
Sage is signed with Pastroni and Bosby Talent of Houston.
