A recent college graduate visits his family for the holidays and must choose to address a big secret in the home or conform to it.

A recent college graduate and every African parent’s dream. He’s a talented pianist, preparing to perform in front of family and friends at a holiday party. He’s confronted with a devastating secret and he must choose to either address the issue and help his sister heal or ignore it as his parents have. Ethnicity: Black / African Descent

Dinah
(20-28 Female United States)

Joseph’s sister. A strong and driven young woman suffering from PTSD from being sexually assaulted by a family friend; her family doesn’t believe her. She feels like an outcast to the family. Ethnicity: Black / African Descent

Jacob
(45-60 Male United States)

Joseph and Dinah’s father. Well respected in the African community. Successful businessman and pushes for Joseph to join him. He refuses to confront the sexual assault that Dinah experienced. Ethnicity: Black / African Descent

Rachel
(45-60 Female United States)

Joseph and Dinah’s mother. Well respected in the African community. Strongly opinionated and conservative. She refuses to confront the sexual assault that Dinah experienced. Ethnicity: Black / African Descent

Shechem
(22-30 Male United States)

Family friend and Dinah’s abuser. Tries to garner sympathy for himself from family and friends. He becomes defensive when Joseph confronts him about Dinah. Ethnicity: Black / African Descent
