My name is Shawn Smith, and Iââ¬â¢m a 38 year old single dad living and working in Southern Arizona, which is only 5 hours to Los Angels CA, 3 hours to Phoenix AZ, and 6 hours to Albuquerque NM. I am very willing to travel any where for jobs. I am 6'1" 248 lbs, medium build, naturally Bald with no eyebrows/eyelashes, arm or leg hair. I have blue eyes and do wear glasses. I grew up in Colorado and joined the Army as a Counterintelligence Agent. In five months I will retire fr... Moreom the Army and be able to focus more on my second careerââ¬Â¦Acting. If nothing else, I have 20 years of acting experience, as Iââ¬â¢ve ââ¬ÅActed like a Soldierââ¬Â for that long. I received a lot of great training in the Army and been able to travel to several foreign countries and interact with the people and culture. I fought in Desert Shield/Storm, Desert Thunder, and most recently Operation Iraqi Freedom. I am working towards an Associates Degree in Intelligence Operations and will transfer into the University of Arizona when I retire, possibly studying Theater.
I love movies and have always wanted to be in the movies whether it be a Principal, Supporting, Bit Part, One Liner, Featured, or Extra/Background roll. As all of my previous experience as been as an Extra, Iââ¬â¢ve enjoyed watching and learning what it takes to make movies and television shows. I also listen to and watch the other actors and play in my mind how I would of portrayed the roll. I have been limited in my acting jobs and classes thus far due to my military service. I have missed out on some great opportunities for classes, casting calls, auditions, and callbacks but made every effort and attempt to get acting training and jobs.
