He studied acting in earnest at the Actors Theater of Houston under Chris Wilson and James Jeter. Shortly after this he landed a theater production lead role as Bo Decker in Bus Stop. With a broken heart and wanting a change, an audition at the famed London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts spawned a relocation to London England . Lack of tuition fees would keep him from LAMDA however he stayed the course. Next he performed his first starring role in the short film One May Morning and also appeared in numerous commercials. Then on to a wild west show in Ilkeston with Monty Montana Jr. at the helm. Randall was Master of ceremonies of the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show and a stunt actor and performer in the Silver City Shootout. Randall returned back to the states and became the first light alcohol beer man in Anheuser Busch's L/A Beer commercial. After taking several years off to marry and raise a family tragedy struck at the murder of a step son. An already failing second marriage could not with stand the pressures of tragedy and therapy and divorce was inevitable. Randall soon re-entered the film industry to pursue his passion and was quickly cast by Jo Edna Bolin in a minor role in the television movie Doc West starring Terrence Hill in 2008. Randall then moved to New Mexico, and by 2011 costarred in an award winning comedy film The Bigfoot Election winning best NM film at the Albuquerque Film Festival and other awards throughout the United States . Although Randall Oliver is set to have his biggest year to date in the film industry with 7+ films scheduled for 2013, there is a social consciousness within Oliver spanning his entire life, long before his trip to Zimbabwe to work with orphan children in Africa.
When Michael McMeel, former drummer of the hit group 3 Dog Night, initiated his program to take inner city kids off the streets of Los Angeles some 20+ years ago with a project called Inner City Slickers, Randall was there in the beginning, once again using his love, talent, passion for those in need. In 2008, Randall made a trip to Costa Rica to investigate a new concept of high school friend, Jani Schulz. Schulz wanted to be the first Radio in the world to dedicate 100% of the programming addressing the social and environmental issues facing our world. Randall advised his friend to initiate shows in the United States, and it was actually Oliver himself who insisted Schulz expand her message on LA Talk Radio. Randall now host the Jana Of The Jungle Show with her every week on LA Talk Radio and syndicated with Rain Forest Radio in San Jose , Costa Rica.
