Esther Cheng is a 14 year old girl who has grown up in music. Ever since she was born, in Upland, California, she would hear music around her house. Her father plays the guitar and her mother plays the violin. When Esther was 2, her sister began the piano. So, all day Esther would listen to the sounds her family was making. When Esther was 9, she started learning the trumpet. She has been playing ever since. She has been in 2 church choir plays and sang solos. She took piano lessons for 2 years.... More When Esther was 3, she moved from California to Connecticut. There, her family was very involved the church. When she was 6, she moved to Hong Kong. Again, her family was involved with the church. When she was 9, she moved back to California. Now, she still lives in Chino Hills, California and has become very interested in the entertainment industry. In her junior high life at Canyon Hills Junior High School, she was in the advanced band and award winning drumline for both years. She played the vibraphone. When she was in 7th grade, her drumline broke world history at the Winter Guard International Championships by being the first junior high to make it to finals. She is going into her sophomore year at Ruben S. Ayala High School. She takes part in her award winning school marching band and recently she has been accepted into her school jazz band. Esther really wants to become part of the entertainment business on television shows, movies, making music, and doing commercials. She would love to act, sing, or perform her other musical talents for the public. Less
