Hi, I'm Steve from Liverpool. Currently in Spain working on the set of the new Jason Isaacs movie La Conjura de'l Escorial which is due out in 2008.

Directed by Antonio del Real and made by MGN Filmes, this Spanish period drama tells the story of the 16th century ruler King Philip II of Spain who is forced to deal with a court of deceit and betrayal.

The main scene I'm in takes place during a masked fancy-dress ball at the palace. I play the role of a Nobleman. The... More plot against the King is beginning to unfold....
Being a part of this movie and meeting and working with Jason Isaacs has been an amazing opportunity for me. He's so cool and really nice.

A massive movie star but very down-to-earth. Everybody I spoke to on the production set said the same thing.

I'm now beginning my second year living in Spain. I'm taking time out to explore the culture and traditions of this beautiful country.

My last radio job in England was hosting the afternoon show on 7 Waves earlier this year. The station could be picked up on 87.7 FM across the Wirral, Liverpool and Southport.

In 2006 I had the opportunity to do a 45 minute interview with the Canadian musical genius Jay Semko for my radio show.

Jay is so awesome, he was chosen by the mighty Hollywood producer Paul Haggis (writer of the 22nd James Bond film due out in 2008) to compose the theme song for the hit TV show Due South.

I began my life as a broadcaster in 1992 when I did my school work experience under the expert tuition of Paul and Andy at the Ariel Trust (same place as BBC Radio Merseyside presenter Snelly) in Liverpool.

In 1994 aged just 17 I was offered the chance to host my very own local music show on Mersey Community Radio (MCR FM) and it was thanks to my friends there that I got my first paid commission as a freelance media producer with the Tate Gallery in Liverpool the following year.

It was during my time at MCR FM that I first met and interviewed the Cavern Club's very own Dave Jones. Soon after that I got my first regular job teaching radio skills.

A year later I was offered the role of studio engineer by BBC Radio 4's Anna Douglas who was setting up Britain's very first official experimental radio station 'Hearing is Believing'.

Broadcasting on 105.8 FM from our studio at the Liverpool Bluecoat Chambers, Hearing is Believing was supported by the Canadian High Commission, Liverpool Council, BBC Radio 3 and the Arts Council of England.

Featured on our station were artistes from the University of Liverpool music department and the Wimbledon School of Art.

During this new period in my career I was also commissioned by the Liverpool Council Arts Unit, became editor of a local media industry magazine and was given my own daily music show on Wirral Community Radio.

After a break from broadcasting I returned to frontline presentation with my own afternoon show on 7 Waves radio on Merseyside, England.

In 2008 I'll be hosting a series of gigs at The Cavern. Birthplace of The Beatles and the home of English rock 'n' roll, The Cavern is without question the most famous club in the world and I'll be broadcasting my radio show from inside the club next year.

Also next year I'll be interviewing stars from the classic series of the BBC sci-fi 'Doctor Who'.
