Summary
Claire Harrison is a patient who after surviving a devasting car crash that left her paralyzed, wants to be discharged from the hospital. However, discharging Claire would result in death within 1 week. Dr. Emerson the hospital medical director is against discharging Claire. Dr David Scott is her personal physician. He understands her and falls in love with her. Although David is her doctor because he loves her...he does what he can to help. Legal proceeding take place in Claire's hospital room to decide whether is is sane and should be discharged or whether she is suffering from depression and should remain under hospital care. The judge decides in favor of Claire... but did she win?
