THE HENRY WILLIAMS COMEDY TROUPE
Summary
A live sketch comedy troupe that toured colleges, theaters and many other venues twice a year (spring and fall), the Henry Williams Comedy Shows were a low-brow revival of burlesque with many of the scripts shamelessly lifted right from Dewey "Pigmeat" Markham and even The Goonies. The shows, as threadbare in their production qualities as they were in their sophisticatiom, nevertheless became the catalyst for the development of the cast of Swordfish which formed in 1983.
