In addition to his acting, music and, later, modeling career, Mike Fass was a regularly seen standup comic on the New York City comedy circuit from 1976 until 1984 where he met and worked with a host of performers including Joe Piscopo, Robert Wuhl, Andy Kaufman, Richard Belzer, Paul Reiser, Larry David, Rick Overton (Overton & Sullivan), Mark Schiff, Charlie Barnett, Sam kinnison and Pat Benatar, among others. Mike was best known for his brand of absurdist black humor and allowing the audience to make the joke themselves. Mike said he was frequently amused by the "delayed reaction" to many of his punchlines. He left the circuit in the mid eighties to pursue music more heavily but always kept at least one foot in comedy as a comic actor on stage and in TV sitcoms. Today he stars as a washed up has been Zangief in the hit comedy series, "Street Fighter: The Later Years".
