Summary
Anthony Kirby jr is the well to do son of business tycoon and all around self appointed "square" Anthony Kirby Sr. Anthony jr after falling in love with the new secretary in the office decides to invite his ultra-uptight conservative parents to his girlfriends house which is filled with unusual characters. Each person is more eccentric than the last. By the second act the girlfriends father is arrested for playing with fireworks, the result of which has everyone arrested including Anthonys parents. By the end of the second act jr monologues his father into "coming around" and picking up his saxaphone again.
