Six years before Randy's mysterious death another youn man, 31 year old Glenn Turner started to complain of some unusually severe flu like symptoms. Glenn's mother suspected foul play. Within a month, of Glenn's death, Lynn Turner moved in with fireman Randy Thompson. When Randy died under similar circumstances 6 years later, Glenn Turner's family and friends knew immedieately that something was wrong. Glenn's mother told Randy's mother that both men were living with Lynn when they died.
Prosecutors were skeptical. Why would Lynn, a person with no criminal history, kill a husband and a live in boyfriend? Then investigators made a startling discovery. Lynn was in a big hurry to collect from Randy's life insurance. Investigators looked into Lynn's background and discovered she had hundreds of thousands of dollars in credit card debt. And shortly before their deathsk, Lynn had convinced both men to make her the beneficiary of their $100,000 life insurance policies. Investigators uncovered several suspicious pieces of information including a visit Lynn had made to an animal shelter shortly before Randy's death.
