Summary
The "Caprichos", a series of woodcuts by Enlightenment painter Francisco de Goya, is a condemnation of the abuse of power, superstition and self-righteousness. This production takes the images and ideas of Goya's woodcuts as a starting point for student-created performance. Fantasy, grotesquerie and social critique come together to create a unique new dramatic project.
