Malice is set in the 1500s and tells the story of eight people within a hell called the Witchs Prison. The film portrays the violent end these prisoners met; it tells the story of the sadistic methods the Inquisition employed and the psychological damage it caused. The film includes the clergys stories—not even the monks were truly safe from the Inquisitions insane mission. All of these stories come together at different points in the film and join them all in a tale of sorrow and torment.
