Summary
The story of the Salem Witch Trials, John Proctor finds himself painted into a corner after Abigail Williams, a young girl with whom he had an affair, begins accusing the citizens of Salem, MA of witchcraft. He fights to restore sanity in the town, but ends up fighting for his own life after watching many of his friends die by the whim of this girl gone mad with emotion.
