Full day in NYC and Jersey today.    So much went wrong ;  got to jersey late last night to find that my luggage didn't make it!  Yikes I have a 11::00 call time.  No stores are open and I have stains on both my shirt and pants. Southwest could care less that my future is in the bag they left/lost.   I know they don't care cause the agent keeps repeating the boiler plate response "most likely" it'll be on the morning flight.  Then they will deliver it by 10;30. HOW AM I GONNA PULL THIS OFF?  First thing is, don't panic!  Call Phoenix in NY to meet me in Jersey for hair and makeup so if all else fails with the clothes. At least Imy face is BEAT.   Not my norm but in the words of my manager, "Go to Walmart  and make it do what it do."  Bet!  "Sir how far is your 24 hr Walmart?"  Oh we don't have one of those in Jersey."  You are kidding right .   Ok I'm going to sleep and get some rest and get back on top of this at 6. Four hours of sleep and an ice facial should do me good.  Phoenix arrives on schedule at 8. Face done by 8:39 .  We get to the airport by 9:15 THE BAG IS THERE!  Quick change in the airport bathroom then off to the audition.  Get to the audition by 10:30 nervous as all outdoors because the signs all point to defeat.  NAIL THE AUDITION and land the nation campaign.   The devil is a liar but God and me had a good laugh at his ass.  

Moral:  put a change of clothes in a carrying along with basic make up and fresh panties on all auditions.
